East Hampton is a 426 home swim/tennis community, located in East Cobb County about 20 miles north of downtown Atlanta. The community was developed by John Weiland, between 1993 and 1999. There are mostly two-story homes, many with basements in sizes ranging from 3000 to 6000+ sq. ft. Recent home sales were from $350,000 to $650,000+.
East Hampton provides the advantages of a large community while offering a small community atmosphere by clustering homes in sections known as The Enclave, Lakeside, Overlook, Preserve, Estates, The Ridge at East Hampton and Bishop Lake. Residents enjoy a complete amenity package that includes a competition pool with water slide, six tennis courts, a well-appointed, two-story clubhouse with gym, two playgrounds and four lakes.
Residents also don’t have to travel far to enjoy convenient casual and fine dining, recreation, and shopping. The Avenue East Cobb, The Chattahoochee Nature Center, Marietta Square, Mountain View Aquatics Center, Six Flags Over Georgia, and Town Center Mall, are all minutes away.
Students of The Enclave, Lakeside, Overlook, Preserve, Estates attend Mt. Bethel Elementary School, Dodgen Middle School, and Walton High School, while residents of The Ridge at East Hampton and Bishop Lake Road attend Timber Ridge Elementary, Dodgen Middle School and Pope High School.
